It was late fall we visited Columbia River Gorge. On the route the glamour was over. It was only in the interior on a trail near Wahkeena falls we got fall colors. With the 17-50mm lens, I was generally taking landscapes. At this point i tried a close up of the leaves. This pic is post processed for Orton effect.

Dreamy Path
In my company photography DL, it was the first time I heard of Orton effect - it was an effect I had seen in lot many pics, but did not know how it was achieved. As I read more about it on the net, it was definitely something quite tricky in film age, but considering today's digital photography it is just a matter of minutes of post processing.
This picture was on way to Hoh rain forest in Olympic national park - around mid-Oct and mid of fall season. It was quite sometime that our team of photo enthusiasts spent on this stretch to capture the fall magic.
