One the way to The Wave, the landscape in this desert is out of this world. The buttes are amazingly carved with patterns by wind and moisture and the red sandstone gives it an alien feeling.

The Wave
The Wave - thatz what it is called. This amazing formation is in the Vermillion Cliff Wilderness. Nature has patiently carved this out on rock with help of wind and moisture over thousands of year and is so fragile that access to this wonder is rightfully controlled.
