Snoqualmie Falls in Fall

It was sometime in Oct'09 - one of my friends from Baltimore had been down to Seattle. It was cloudy and drizzling ... still I wanted to show him around nature places around the city and Snouqualmie Falls figured on top. When we reached the viewpoint, it was low light - cloudy and drizzling. I wanted a long exposure shot of the falls, but could not get right viewpoint (without getting my camera wet) on the tripod. I had to manage this handheld.

hi DG,the scene is great but somehow it would have been beeter to have that cliff moved aside, the dull colors of rock somehow make this beautiful photograph seem something missing

Hmm .. agreed - a portrait orientation cutting off the cliff view may have been good.
However I think the ambience of cloudy skys and drizzling rain is preserved with the the dull colors :)
